Christopher holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Seton Hall University, where he also showcased his talent as a Division I soccer player. Additionally, he attended Harvard Business School for a post-graduate program in OPM, further honing his strategic leadership skills. Beyond his professional achievements, Christopher finds joy in his personal life, sharing it with his fiancé Melanie and their four children. Together, they love to travel the world, experiencing new cultures and creating lifelong memories. An avid daily runner, Christopher embodies the same dedication and perseverance in his personal pursuits as he does in his professional endeavors. Christopher has also been an industry consultant and mentors new and upcoming entrepreneurs in the green industry, sharing his expertise and guiding others toward success. Meet Derek Kenney, a seasoned lawn care professional with a passion for nurturing healthy, green lawns. Derek’s journey with Truly Lawn began humbly, starting as a helper alongside Chris in the field. Through dedication and hard work, he quickly rose through the ranks, leveraging his landscaping expertise to excel in lawn care treatments.
With a keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence, Derek became a trusted expert in lawn care. Transitioning seamlessly into a leadership role, he spearheads operational improvements and annual planning initiatives. Derek’s hands-on approach and integrity drive innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement within Truly Lawn.
Outside of work, Derek enjoys exploring the great outdoors through travel, hiking, snowboarding, and golfing. His diverse interests and unwavering dedication make him an invaluable leader within the Truly Lawn team.
Anthony Delisi
Sales Manager

Anthony is one of Truly Lawn’s first employees. He began his career with us in 2020 as a Sales Consultant and hit the ground running. He quickly established himself as the company’s top sales representative, stressing the importance of personal relationships within the sales process. Anthony is now in the position of Sales Manager and oversees the training and production of Truly’s sales team, as well as the management of our current accounts with a level of care that keeps them coming back . His desire for continued learning about lawncare and its current industry has helped build the trust of not only his coworkers, but all of our clients.
Outside of work, Anthony is a competitive CrossFit athlete who prioritizes health and wellness. He enjoys listening to all types of music, a good podcast and playing chess to unwind.
Tom Gardner
Lead Lawn Technician

Tom is fairly new to the Lawn care industry, this being his second season with Truly Lawn. He has quickly taken the role of lead technician and inner office liaison. He seems to have a knack for this type of career. Tom attended a course and aced an exam in order to earn his “Core Applicators License” from the state of Massachusetts. His experience as a licensed self-employed electrician for almost 15 years has given him the skills needed for customer education and relationship building, leadership, problem solving, attention to detail, overall safety, and a positive attitude day in and day out. He has an insatiable hunger for learning new techniques in the field and finding ways of making sure all of our clients needs are meant.
If you were to ask Tom if he would have ever found himself in the lawn care industry this time two years ago he wouldn’t have thought it possible. But when an opportunity presented itself to work with the team here at Truly Lawn became active and he saw how the company operates it was difficult to resist. “I love the people I work with and the relationships that have formed as a result. I have learned so much about how to ethically grow a company whose only goal is to educate the consumer and transform their property into something they can enjoy and be proud of.”
Tom will continue to strive and grow in this industry. His overall work ethic and can-do attitude which has always served him to grow in whatever life throws his way can only improve the service he provides for our customers, colleagues, employees, and of course his family.
John Carey

John is a seasoned lawn care operations manager with over 30 years of extensive experience in the industry. Committed to delivering exceptional customer service to foster loyalty and sustained business growth, he possesses a comprehensive understanding of all facets of Professional Turf Grass management and Trees and Ornamentals. Known for his strong work ethic and superb organizational abilities, John is eager to embark on a new challenge with the Truly Lawn team.
Outside of work, John finds joy in spending time with his wife, Nicole, and their three adult children. His hobbies include running, soccer, and fishing, with a particular passion for following European teams and actively participating in the NEOTHSL for Medfield. He seizes every opportunity to fish and takes runs whenever possible.
Dan Mccombie
Customer Service Representative

Dan embarked on his career primarily in bartending and serving roles, enticed by the dynamic and fast-paced nature of the environment. He relished the challenges of problem-solving in customer care, while also seizing sales opportunities through upselling and fostering interpersonal connections. Throughout his journey, Dan diversified his expertise by delving into various construction and labor-intensive roles, further expanding his skill set.
Dan started at Truly Lawn as a lawn technician, mentored by Derek. Acknowledging Dan’s inherent talent, positive client feedback, and impeccable reputation, we saw the opportunity to elevate him to the position of a customer service advocate. Given his extensive experience in the service industry, Dan seamlessly transitioned into this role, fitting naturally into its demands.
During his free time, Dan is often regarded as a fitness enthusiast. His passion lies in personal training for which he diligently pursued professional certification. He is driven by the satisfaction of client interactions and the ability to assist individuals in achieving their personal fitness objectives.
Meg Kenney

Meg is a new addition to the lawn care industry! Prior to joining Truly Lawn, Meg worked in various roles including children and family support, where she provided guidance, encouragement and resources to families facing challenges. Her passion for making a positive impact on people’s lives is evident in her approach to customer service, where she strives to create meaningful connections and ensure every customer feels valued and heard. She approaches each interaction with empathy, patience and professionalism. Meg thrives on helping others and her problem solving abilities makes her a valuable asset to the customer service team.
Outside of her professional life, Meg enjoys practicing Pilates and is currently working towards becoming an instructor. Meg‘s athletic background includes being a Division III collegiate athlete at Westfield State University, where she played field hockey. Her passion for hockey extends to supporting the Bruins in any capacity. Additionally, she cherishes spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and indulging in music.
