Christopher holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Seton Hall University, where he also showcased his talent as a Division I soccer player. Additionally, he attended Harvard Business School for a post-graduate program in OPM, further honing his strategic leadership skills. Christopher has also been an industry consultant and mentors new and upcoming entrepreneurs in the green industry.
Beyond his professional achievements, Christopher finds joy in his personal life, sharing it with his fiancé Melanie and their four children. Together, they love to travel the world, experiencing new cultures and creating lifelong memories. An avid daily runner, Christopher embodies the same dedication and perseverance in his personal pursuits as he does in his professional endeavors.
Derek’s story started in the field as a helper — today he leads operations, planning, and process improvements with a hands-on, detail-driven approach.
Meet Derek Kenney, a seasoned lawn care professional with a passion for nurturing healthy, green lawns. Derek’s journey with Truly Lawn began humbly, starting as a helper alongside Chris in the field. Through dedication and hard work, he quickly rose through the ranks, leveraging his landscaping expertise to excel in lawn care treatments.
With a keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence, Derek became a trusted expert in lawn care. Transitioning seamlessly into a leadership role, he spearheads operational improvements and annual planning initiatives. Derek’s hands-on approach and integrity drive innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement within Truly Lawn.
Outside of work, Derek enjoys exploring the great outdoors through travel, hiking, snowboarding, and golfing. His diverse interests and unwavering dedication make him an invaluable leader within the Truly Lawn team.
Office & Customer Care

Meg keeps the office running smoothly — customer accounts, systems, communication, and marketing support — always with a calm, can-do presence.
Meg joined Truly Lawn in 2024 and quickly became an integral part of the team, growing into her current role as Office Manager. She plays a key role in keeping customer accounts up to date, streamlining office systems, and supporting the company’s growth through thoughtful, consistent communication. Her attention to detail, natural knack for coordination, and steady supply of iced coffee help keep the office running smoothly.
With a background in children and family support services, Meg brings a calm, thoughtful presence to her work and a problem solving mindset that helps both customers and team members alike. She also contributes to marketing initiatives, helping shape the voice and presence of the Truly Lawn brand.
Outside of work, Meg is a Pilates instructor and enjoys sharing the benefits of movement and wellness. A former collegiate field hockey player at Westfield State University, she still carries that team spirit with her. Meg loves to travel, spend time outdoors, cheer on New England sports teams, and enjoy good music with family and friends. At home, you’ll likely find her wrapped up in a cozy blanket, watching reality TV or reading a good book, surrounded by plants and flowers.
Rob pairs communication expertise with contagious enthusiasm — staying calm under pressure and keeping customers supported start to finish.
As the newest addition to Truly Lawn, Rob brings communicational expertise and contagious enthusiasm to a growing team. With experience rooted in the hospitality industry and fortified by a Marketing degree from UMass Amherst, human connection and creativity form the foundation of his approach to both his personal and professional endeavors. Keeping himself calm and collected under pressure and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the emotions and intentions of people he interacts with day-to-day has been key in his success and continued development.
Outside of workplace problem-solving with a unique blend of grace, humor, and professionalism, Rob finds enjoyment in all things new. A natural curiosity has him exploring new environments, meeting new people, discovering new music, trying new foods and everything in between. Finding excitement and joy in the unfamiliar has always been something Rob has embraced, and that wonder and open-mindedness has shown to continuously translate to everything he does.
Kayla brings empathy, energy, and a strong work ethic — supporting the team with clear communication and a steady, reliable presence.
Kayla is a new addition to the Truly Lawn team as our new office assistant! She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University. She is passionate and prides herself on being attentive, dependable, and adaptable in any environment. She has experience working closely with children and families, which has strengthened her communication skills and deepened her commitment to helping others.
Kayla’s background also includes roles outside the human services field, such as working as an operator in a machine shop and serving in front desk positions in the hospitality industry. These diverse experiences have made her a well-rounded professional with the ability to adjust quickly to different work settings and responsibilities.
Outside of her professional life she enjoys staying active and busy throughout the day—whether at work, hiking, traveling, playing soccer and wakeboarding, or spending quality time with friends and family. She also has a deep passion for plants and enjoys collecting and caring for them in her spare time. It’s a hobby that brings balance to her busy lifestyle and reflects her appreciation for growth, patience, and nurturing—values which she carries into every aspect of her life and work. No matter the setting, she brings energy, empathy, and a strong work ethic to everything she does.
Ken brings positive energy, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping customers feel supported every step of the way.
Ken is a new member of the customer service team at Truly Lawn, already known for bringing positive energy and a genuine passion for helping customers. His professional background reflects strong adaptability, beginning in media production where he converted thousands of VHS tapes to DVDs, and later transitioning into customer service as the industry evolved. Joining Truly Lawn marked an exciting step into a growing field where he continues to connect with and assist people every day.
Outside of work, Ken enjoys spending time outdoors, taking adventurous drives, and capturing photos along the way. He’s a fan of sports, comedy, and watching Star Trek, and enjoys dinners and musical bingo with friends—often making others laugh with his well-timed puns. At home, he lives with two small dogs and frequently cat-sits for his neighbor, always bringing positivity and humor wherever he goes.

Tom transitioned into the green industry with 20+ years in service — now building client-centric teams at both branches with a focus on excellence.
Tom joined the Truly team in 2023. He has been in the service industry for 20+ years, and has now transitioned into the green industry. Tom hit the ground running and holds the highest grade on the Truly Lawn team for his applicators license core exam. In 2024 he attended and graduated from the Stockbridge Agriculture and Turf Program at UMass Amherst. He has now taken on the role of building client-centric teams at both Hopedale and Medford branches.
Family is super important to Tom. During his off time as a father of 3 you can catch him at his girls sporting events and activities including hockey, dance, softball, and cheerleading to name a few. He enjoys the outdoors, saltwater fishing, camping, and is always down for a few hands of cribbage.
Tom will always be looking for ways to continue to strive and grow in this industry. His attention to detail, positive attitude, and strive for excellent service to our clients is what makes him such an intricate and important part of our team.
Patrick blends hands-on experience with a customer-first approach — supporting sales, service, and the overall client experience with clear, genuine communication.
Patrick is a seasoned Sales Representative with a unique background that blends hands-on experience with a passion for customer service. After starting as a Lawn Technician, he developed a deep understanding of the business from the ground up, which now helps him deliver a better overall client experience. His career also includes time in manufacturing, insurance, and sales, where he built a strong ability to connect with people and form lasting relationships. Today, Patrick plays a broader role within the company, supporting both sales and service while helping oversee the customer experience.
Known for his personable approach and strong work ethic, Patrick focuses on delivering results while making sure clients feel heard and taken care of. In addition to sales, he helps manage customer service operations and supports his team to ensure a high level of service across the board. He specializes in sales and customer care, with an emphasis on long-term satisfaction. Guided by integrity, gratitude, empathy, accountability, and humor, he builds trust through clear, genuine communication every day.
Patrick is motivated by making a positive impact both professionally and personally. Outside of work, he enjoys following Boston sports, spending time with friends and family, staying active, and getting to the beach whenever he can. Originally from Maine, he now lives near Boston and still carries his strong New England roots with him.
Jonathan brings nearly two decades of lawn care sales experience and a strong passion for helping customers achieve healthy, thriving lawns.
Jonathan brings 18 years of experience in lawn care sales, including more than 13 years in both sales and leadership roles with a national lawn care franchise. He is passionate about helping clients achieve healthy, thriving lawns and is excited to bring his expertise to Truly Lawn. Jonathan especially enjoys building strong relationships with customers and takes pride in seeing them enjoy the results.
Outside of work, Jonathan values spending time with his wife, staying active, and exploring the Boston area—whether that’s taking walks in the park or simply enjoying time together. At home, they share their space with their two cats, Troy and Tracy, who are a big part of their lives.

Office Therapist, morale booster, and expert in unconditional support.
Meet Lulu, our four-legged Office Therapist and expert in unconditional support. She takes her role very seriously—whether that means supervising naps, reminding everyone to take a walk, or offering stress relief with a tail wag.
When she’s not keeping morale high at Truly Lawn, Lulu enjoys snoozing with her mom, getting her hair fluffed and styled, and taking long neighborhood strolls with her dad. She also loves shopping trips at the Wrentham Outlets and never misses a trip to the Jersey Shore.
Lulu believes therapy can come in many forms: a cuddle, a paw on your lap, or simply her cheerful presence. Always approachable, always supportive—Lulu is proof that the best kind of coworker sometimes comes with fur.
