Christopher holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Seton Hall University, where he also showcased his talent as a Division I soccer player. Additionally, he attended Harvard Business School for a post-graduate program in OPM, further honing his strategic leadership skills. Beyond his professional achievements, Christopher finds joy in his personal life, sharing it with his fiancé Melanie and their four children. Together, they love to travel the world, experiencing new cultures and creating lifelong memories. An avid daily runner, Christopher embodies the same dedication and perseverance in his personal pursuits as he does in his professional endeavors. Christopher has also been an industry consultant and mentors new and upcoming entrepreneurs in the green industry, sharing his expertise and guiding others toward success. Meet Derek Kenney, a seasoned lawn care professional with a passion for nurturing healthy, green lawns. Derek’s journey with Truly Lawn began humbly, starting as a helper alongside Chris in the field. Through dedication and hard work, he quickly rose through the ranks, leveraging his landscaping expertise to excel in lawn care treatments.
With a keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence, Derek became a trusted expert in lawn care. Transitioning seamlessly into a leadership role, he spearheads operational improvements and annual planning initiatives. Derek’s hands-on approach and integrity drive innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement within Truly Lawn.
Outside of work, Derek enjoys exploring the great outdoors through travel, hiking, snowboarding, and golfing. His diverse interests and unwavering dedication make him an invaluable leader within the Truly Lawn team.
Meg Kenney
Office Manager

Meg joined Truly Lawn in 2024 and quickly became an integral part of the team, growing into her current role as Office Manager. She plays a key role in keeping customer accounts up to date, streamlining office systems, and supporting the company’s growth through thoughtful, consistent communication. Her attention to detail, natural knack for coordination, and steady supply of iced coffee help keep the office running smoothly.
With a background in children and family support services, Meg brings a calm, thoughtful presence to her work and a problem solving mindset that helps both customers and team members alike. She also contributes to marketing initiatives, helping shape the voice and presence of the Truly Lawn brand.
Outside of work, Meg is a Pilates instructor and enjoys sharing the benefits of movement and wellness. A former collegiate field hockey player at Westfield State University, she still carries that team spirit with her. Meg loves to travel, spend time outdoors, cheer on New England sports teams, and enjoy good music with family and friends. At home, you’ll likely find her wrapped up in a cozy blanket, watching reality TV or reading a good book, surrounded by plants and flowers.
Tom Gardener
Operations Supervisor

Tom joined the Truly team in 2023. He has been in the service industry for 20+ years, he has now transitioned into the green industry. Tom hit the ground running and holds the highest grade on the Truly Lawn team for his applicators license core exam. In 2024 he attended and graduated from the Stockbridge Agriculture and Turf Program at UMass Amherst. He has now taken on the role of building client-centric teams at both Hopedale and Medford branches.
Family is super important to Tom, during his off time as a father of 3 you can catch him at his girls sporting events and activities including hockey, dance, softball, and cheerleading to name a few. He enjoys the outdoors, saltwater fishing, camping, and is always down for a few hands of cribbage.
Tom will always be looking for ways to continue to strive and grow in this industry. His attention to detail, positive attitude, and strive for excellent service to our clients is what makes him such an intricate and important part of our team
Dan McCombie

Dan embarked on his career primarily in bartending and serving roles, enticed by the dynamic and fast-paced nature of the environment. He relished the challenges of problem-solving in customer care, while also seizing sales opportunities through upselling and fostering interpersonal connections. Throughout his journey, Dan diversified his expertise by delving into various construction and labor-intensive roles, further expanding his skill set.
Dan started at Truly Lawn as a lawn technician, mentored by Derek. Acknowledging Dan’s inherent talent, positive client feedback, and impeccable reputation, we saw the opportunity to elevate him to the position of a customer service advocate. Given his extensive experience in the service industry, Dan seamlessly transitioned into this role, fitting naturally into its demands.
During his free time, Dan is often regarded as a fitness enthusiast. His passion lies in personal training for which he diligently pursued professional certification. He is driven by the satisfaction of client interactions and the ability to assist individuals in achieving their personal fitness objectives.

Having transitioned from a Lawn Technician role with the company, he brings a deep understanding of the business and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience. Patrick’s career also spans time in insurance and sales, which has honed his ability to connect with clients and build lasting relationships.
Known for his personable approach and strong work ethic, Patrick specializes in sales, customer service, and ensuring client satisfaction. His core values—integrity, gratitude, empathy, accountability, and humor—are at the heart of his daily interactions, helping him foster trust and rapport with everyone he works with.
Patrick is driven by a sense of purpose and a desire to make a positive impact. When he’s not working, Patrick enjoys comedy, following Boston sports, spending time outdoors, and volunteering with the Special Olympics. A native of Maine and one of seven siblings, Patrick now resides near Boston, but his New England roots run deep.

Brendan is a dedicated Lawn Care Technician and Sales Representative at Truly Lawn, bringing a diverse and dynamic professional background to the turf and lawn care industry. With experience spanning multiple industries—including hazardous waste, health and safety, various trades (such as carpentry and electrical), and customer service—he has developed a well-rounded skill set that allows him to approach challenges with both creativity and practicality.
Though Brendan is relatively new to the turf and lawn care world, he quickly found his passion through his close family connection to the golf industry and fertilizer sales world. His enthusiasm for the field led him to earn a Turf Management Certification from UMass Amherst and obtain his State Pesticide Core Applicator License, both of which underscore his commitment to growing in his role.
Known for his personable, attentive, and positive nature, Brendan excels in building relationships with customers and delivering exceptional service. His ability to think on his feet and develop innovative solutions has made him an asset to his team, and his drive for continuous self-improvement ensures he is always striving to be the best version of himself.
Outside of work, Brendan stays active and engaged with a variety of hobbies, including golfing, cooking, exploring new food and restaurants, and exercising daily—whether it’s at the gym or outdoors on a long run. An avid sports enthusiast, he enjoys watching football, basketball, hockey, and UFC, and is a devoted fan of the New England Patriots. A fun fact about Brendan: in 2022, he rescued a puppy from Puerto Rico, who has since become his best friend.

Originally from Merrimac, Massachusetts, Nick brings a unique combination of technical
skill, attention to detail, and genuine passion for the outdoors to the Truly Lawn team. With a
background in golf course maintenance, he’s no stranger to high standards — having spent years
perfecting the look and health of fairways and greens. That experience not only sharpened his
eye for turf care but also sparked his deep interest in the chemical side of lawn maintenance.
Nick also holds a degree in education with a focus on History, which gives him a
thoughtful and methodical approach to problem-solving. Whether he’s diagnosing lawn issues or
applying treatments, Nick is committed to helping customers achieve healthy, vibrant lawns with
care and precision.
When he’s not out in the field, Nick enjoys exploring Boston, working on side
landscaping projects, and spending time outdoors. He’s an avid reader, loves camping, and
values time with his friends — and his cats, who always keep him company at home. Reliable,
friendly, and always learning, Nick is a trusted member of the Truly Lawn crew and someone
who takes pride in helping every lawn reach its full potential.
John Carey

John is a seasoned lawn care operations manager with over 30 years of extensive experience in the industry. Committed to delivering exceptional customer service to foster loyalty and sustained business growth, he possesses a comprehensive understanding of all facets of Professional Turf Grass management and Trees and Ornamentals. Known for his strong work ethic and superb organizational abilities, John is eager to embark on a new challenge with the Truly Lawn team.
Outside of work, John finds joy in spending time with his wife, Nicole, and their three adult children. His hobbies include running, soccer, and fishing, with a particular passion for following European teams and actively participating in the NEOTHSL for Medfield. He seizes every opportunity to fish and takes runs whenever possible.
Kayla Juliano

Kayla is a new addition to the Truly Lawn team as our new office assistant! She holds a
Master’s degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University. She is passionate and
prides herself on being attentive, dependable, and adaptable in any environment. She has
experience working closely with children and families, which has strengthened her
communication skills and deepened her commitment to helping others.
Kayla’s background also includes roles outside the human services field, such as working
as an operator in a machine shop and serving in front desk positions in the hospitality industry.
These diverse experiences have made her a well-rounded professional with the ability to adjust
quickly to different work settings and responsibilities. Outside of her professional life she enjoys
staying active and busy throughout the day—whether at work, hiking, traveling, playing soccer
and wakeboarding, or spending quality time with friends and family. She also has a deep passion
for plants and enjoys collecting and caring for them in her spare time. It’s a hobby that brings
balance to her busy lifestyle and reflects her appreciation for growth, patience, and
nurturing—values which she carries into every aspect of her life and work. No matter the setting,
she brings energy, empathy, and a strong work ethic to everything she does.

As the newest addition to Truly Lawn, Rob brings communicational expertise and contagious enthusiasm to a growing team. With experience rooted in the hospitality industry and fortified by a Marketing degree from UMass Amherst, human connection and creativity form the foundation of his approach to both his personal and professional endeavors. Keeping himself calm and collected under pressure and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the emotions and intentions of people he interacts with day-to-day has been key in his success and continued development.
Outside of workplace problem-solving with a unique blend of grace, humor, and professionalism, Rob finds enjoyment in all things new. A natural curiosity has him exploring new environments, meeting new people, discovering new music, trying new foods and everything in between. Finding excitement and joy in the unfamiliar has always been something Rob has embraced, and that wonder and open-mindedness has shown to continuously translate to everything he does.
Lulu
Office Therapist
Meet Lulu, our four-legged Office Therapist and expert in unconditional support. She takes her role very seriously—whether that means supervising naps, reminding everyone to take a walk, or offering stress relief with a tail wag.
When she’s not keeping morale high at Truly Lawn, Lulu enjoys snoozing with her mom, getting her hair fluffed and styled, and taking long neighborhood strolls with her dad. She also loves shopping trips with her mom and dad at the Wrentham Outlets, where she’s always on the lookout for something stylish. A dedicated playmate to her sisters and brother, Lulu is also a seasoned traveler who never misses a trip to the Jersey Shore.
Lulu believes therapy can come in many forms: a cuddle, a paw on your lap, or simply her cheerful presence. Always approachable, always supportive—Lulu is proof that the best kind of coworker sometimes comes with fur.

Dakotah joins Truly Lawn with a strong background in commercial landscaping, irrigation, and snow removal. Originally from Lansing, Michigan, she’s built her career on hard work, teamwork, and taking pride in a job well done.
Outside of work, Dakotah loves hiking, relaxing by the lake, and spending time with family and friends. She’s also a foodie who enjoys discovering new flavors, cooking up her own creations, and making dreamcatchers in her free time.
We’re excited to have Dakotah on the Truly Lawn team—she brings skill, dedication, and just the right mix of hard work and charm. With her positive energy and eagerness to keep learning, she’s the kind of teammate who makes both lawns and the workplace a little brighter.
Mike Dearing
Lawn Care Technician
Mike has done a little bit of everything, from delivery driving to appliance repair to bartending. Those jobs taught him how to adapt to any situation, but what he really wanted was to be part of a team and make a difference close to home.
Now he enjoys working outdoors, learning new skills, and helping customers turn their lawns into something they can be proud of. He takes pride in the results and likes knowing his effort shows in every yard.
Outside of work, Mike likes tinkering with gadgets, reading, playing games, and the occasional karaoke night. With his strong work ethic and easygoing personality, he is someone customers can count on to get the job done right.
Charlie Vincent

Charles comes to Truly Lawn with a strong background as a contractor, where he found real satisfaction in tackling challenges and seeing problems through to solutions. He brings that same dedication and hands-on skill to caring for lawns, making sure every property he works on looks its absolute best.
From Belmont, MA, Charles feels most at home when he’s surrounded by nature, especially in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, his favorite escape. Outside of work, he enjoys painting, sketching, and picking up his guitar to unwind. One of his greatest joys, though, is simply spending time and sharing conversations with his son.
With a creative eye, a knack for problem-solving, and a genuine love for the outdoors, Charles is excited to put his skills to work at Truly Lawn. He looks forward to helping customers take pride in their lawns while continuing to grow in a field that keeps him connected to what he enjoys most, nature and creativity.
